Abstract: Key findings •• The presence of oats reduced barley yields from no significant reduction up to 31.27%. •• Varieties Fathom[PBR] and Commander[PBR] were the most effective varieties at suppressing oat development. •• Bass[PBR] and Buloke[PBR] demonstrated no significant yield reduction in the presence of oats.
