Abstract: The Golden Drake Mining Syndicate is prospecting, by means of an adit, a four feet wide, north dipping, fracture zone which strikes 260° to 270° through volcanics of Permian Age. The fracture zone trends towards, but does not seem continuous with, the reef system of the old Lady Jersey Mine. Zinc, iron and copper sulphides occur as discontinuous lenticular pods and stringers along the fracture zone. Gold values are intimately associated with the sulphides, but to date, in the adit
