Abstract: The Yooroonah Lode is a mineralise^, basic-body controlled by a steeply dipping Joint striking 040 M in acid granite of Permian age. The lode outcrops discontinuously over 300 feet, and the width varies from 5 feet, where dyke-like, to 28 feet, where pod shaped. Magnetite mineralisation is accompanied by ore grade tin oxide and sub-economic sulphides of zinc, lead and copper. Samples taken in the surface openings gave tin values varying from 0.13%to 2.77% Further surface testing of the lode by means of a series of costeans should be undertaken and, if the results are encouraging, a magnetometer survey could be carried out
