Abstract: A telescopic alidade survey of the surface and a compass and tape survey of the accessible workings were carried out from 17th-19th September, 1961, of the Trough Gully Copper Mine, Dungowan, by R. E. Relph and L. McClatchie. The mine which is situated in portion 109, parish Piallamore, county Parry, is reached from Tamworth by 13 miles of bitumen road to the Trough Gully crossing near Dungowan, and then by 2 miles of dirt road. It is being prospected by a syndicate headed by J. Simpson of Tamworth. This report is accompanied by plans D 378, D 381, D 382, D 383 and P 244
