| Abstract: | Unusually aggressive levels of Ascochyta blight in a moderately resistant commercial chickpea variety in 2011 raised questions about varietal purity. DNA testing of 36 seed lots from 2011 chickpea crops identified a high incidence of genetic contamination. |
