Abstract: Key findings • Grain yield declined as row spacing widened with the double skip configuration yielding 60% of the solid configuration. There was no significant impact of varying plant population or hybrid on grain yield at this site in this season. • Grain quality met the receival standards, so while there were significant impacts of varying some of the agronomic treatments, none were at a level to be commercially significant. • Dry matter production reduced as row configuration increased. Solid plant produced more than double the dry matter of the double skip configuration. There was no effect of varying plant population or hybrid on biomass production.
