Abstract: SUMMARY: The Sulcor limestone deposit consists of a massive limestone outcrop up to 800 metres in width and 3000 metres in length. Potential reserves of limestone to the surrounding plain level are estimated at 100 million tonnes with possibly a further 150 million tonnes to a depth of 100 metres below plain level. An undetermined proportion of the limestone is of inferior quality. There is some possibility that parts of the deposit may be contaminated by igneous intrusions.
