| Abstract: | There has been difficulty in the past in accurately locating the base of the Jurassic Surat Basin sequence in the Moree district. A palynological study has shown several of the previous interpretations to be incorrect. This information should be of assistance in the search for stratigraphic hydrocarbon traps. |
