Abstract: Key findings •• There were no significant differences between Jade-AU[PBR] and Crystal[PBR] in yield, seed size, protein content, plant height and height above ground of the lowest pod in 2013/14 and 2014/15. •• There were no significant differences between Celera II-AU[PBR] and Green Diamond[PBR] yield, seed size, protein content, and height above ground of the lowest pod in 2013/14. •• Variations in protein content were relatively small across genotypes. Environmental conditions at individual experiment sites and across seasons appear to have the main influence on seed protein content. •• Potential harvest difficulties posed by the short height of the lowest pod in Regur were evident, regardless of the production system.
