| Abstract: | Key findings »» After stem elongation, mature prickly lettuce plants are difficult to control. »» Controlling mature prickly lettuce plants early achieves better results. »» No single treatments, except paraquat, achieved 100% control of mature prickly lettuce plants that emerged after a wheat crop was harvested. The paraquat, either used alone or as a follow-up application, was the only outstanding treatment, achieving 100% control. |
