Abstract: The Yerranderie Silver Field is situated within 60 miles in a direct line from the General Post Office, Sydney, and is conveniently reached by train to Camden, 42 miles, win nee a daily motor service runs to Yerranderie, 42 miles distant. Although so close to the metropolis, the general public do not appear to be very familiar with conditions there, nor to have much idea as to the past out put and future possibilities of this field as a producer of silver and lead. The field is an important one, the value of the production to date exceeding £'2,000,000. There appears to bo an excellent prospect of the field maintaining its position as an important mining centre for years to come provided the prices of silver and lead do not fall appreciably, and provided also that prospecting and development work be not neglected.
