Abstract: Discovery of new graptolite localities has a more precise dating of the Eillabong Creek which is now considered likely to be of Eastonian or Bolindian age, at least in its upper portion.
A synthesis of Lower Triassic Narrabeen Group nomenclature within the Sydney Basin is proposed in order to provide an integrated stratigraphic framework for the purpose of later modification.
