The Department of Natural Resources was established on 29 August 2005 when the former Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Natural Resources was abolished. The Department of Natural Resources was abolished on 27 April 2007, with its functions transferred to the Department of Lands, the Department of Primary Industries, the Department of Water and Energy, and the Department of Environment and Climate Change. © State of New South Wales through Museums of History NSW
