Abstract: | This report documents the fourth operational year of the National Parks and Wildlife Service of New South Wales, demonstrating substantial organizational growth and enhanced conservation outcomes. The Service's territorial jurisdiction expanded significantly, incorporating an additional 438,522 acres of protected land, culminating in a total administered area of 3,408,273 acres, including 81 miles of state coastline. Strategic developments included the successful negotiation of park concessions and the assumption of mooring site licensing authority within Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park. These developments collectively indicate the Service's successful transition from its establishment phase to a period of sustained growth and enhanced conservation management capabilities. |
