Abstract: | Key findings • Barley variety choice can have a moderate impact on the build-up of the RLN, Pratylenchus thornei in the soil. • Pratylenchus thornei populations were approximately double in the most susceptible variety Gairdner[PBR] compared to the most resistant varieties Urambie[PBR] and Oxford[PBR]. • Sowing time did not have a significant effect on the build-up of Pt populations in barley. |
