Abstract: Key findings • Across the twelve wheat varieties included, optimum yield was achieved where anthesis occurred in the window from 10th September to 24th September • EGA Gregory[PBR], Suntop[PBR] and LongReach Impala[PBR] were relatively high yielding at each of the three sowing dates • These relatively high yielding varieties also achieved the lowest grain protein concentration
