Abstract: | The limestone deposits of New South Wales are numerous and are extensively worked both on a large-scale basis for the cement manufacturing industry, and to a lesser degree for the production of agricultural lime, terazzo chips and monumental marble blocks. This report deals only with the problems associated with blasting in the large scale quarries operated as a source of limestone for cement manufacture as at Portland, Charbon, Kandos and Marulan |
