dc.description.abstractThe upper part of the Amphitheatre Group southwest of Cobar consists of marine near shore arenites and siltstones, which have been named the Buckambool Sandstone, the Sawmill Tank Siltstone and the Gundaroo Sandstone. These are overlain by arenite and siltstone of the Mulga Downs Group which represent braided and meandering stream deposits-
