A versatile microfilming system using microfiche has been developed for published and unpublished geological reports. Text is filmed on 16-mm and plans on 35-mm film; these may be combined on one fiche if required. No jackets are used. Diazo copies are produced from master fiche for normal use and vesicular duplicates are used for reproduction of line drawings-
Stratigraphic units defined in a sequence of Cainozoic sediments forming terraces adjacent to the Nepean - Hawkesbury river system in the Penrith - Windsor area are as follows: St Marys Formation (pre-Miocene Rickabys Creek Gravel and Londonderry Clay (Miocene); Clarendon Formation, Agnes Banks Sand, and Pitt Town sand (Pliocene - Pleistocene); and Cranebrook and Lowlands/Formations (Pleistocene). The sediments forming these units comprise clay, silt, sand, and gravel and were deposited by an ancestral Nepean - Hawkesbury river system.-
