Combined NSW Catchment Management Authorities Annual Report 2003-04 Volume 2: Statutory and financial reports

Abstract

In October 2003 the NSW Premier announced the NSW natural resource management reform package based primarily on the recommendations of the Native Vegetation Reform Implementation Group. A key component of the reform package was the establishment of thirteen Catchment Management Authorities (CMAs) within NSW. These Authorities were formally established on 23 January 2004 with the introduction of the Catchment Management Authorities Act 2003.
