| dcterms.abstract | On 22nd April, 1988 the Mines Inspection Branch (formerly Mines Inspection Division) was transferred from the Department of Industrial Relations to the Department of Mineral Resources as part of the State Government's initiatives to establish a "one stop shop" for the mining industry. This repatriation may still require some changes within the Department of Mineral Resources. It is envisaged that such changes will not compromise existing health and safety standards. This annual report will document the activities of this Branch whilst serving the former and present Departments. | - |
