Chemical Laboratory Report No 15 Selected Records of the Chemical Laboratory for the Years 1967-68

Abstract

The samples received include rocks and minerals for analysis submitted by staffs of the Geological Survey, Mining Museum, and various universities. The work required on these samples is 'nainly connected with geochemical, petrol ogical, or mineralogical research, involves analytical determinations of up to 40 constituents and i undertaken where it is considered that the results will contribute to the knowledge of the geochemistry of the State. Work performed in this section is often included in theses submitted for higher degrees. In addition to the actual analyses, interpretation and advice on occurrence, type, and recommendations for further research are made.
