dc.description.abstract | A stream sediment geochemical survey, covering 30,000 km2of the Upper North East Region of New South Wales, has been completed by Unisearch Ltd, University of New South Wales. The region extends from Coffs Harbour to Guyra and north to the Queensland border. The area has a rich diversity of fauna and flora, with agriculture, forestry, mining and tourism being important contributors to the regional economy. The survey has involved the collection, multielement analysis and presentation of data from 1677 individual sites and forms part of a broader, integrated resource assessment being undertaken by the NSW Natural Resources Audit Council. | - |
