Abstract: | The Orange Blue Metal Quarry is located just on the City of Orange boundary, and is bounded on the south by the New South Wales Government Railway link between Orange and Molong, and on the west by Racecourse Road, a busy thoroughfare from Orange to the fruit growing area and scenic area of Mount Canobolas. The remainder of the Quarry area perimeter is largely vacant land. However several residences are nearby and only 200 to 300 feet away from the seat of blasting. |
