he NSW Office of Water was established from 1 July 2009 as a separate office within the Department of Environment, Climate Change and Water. (1) The Office of Water was comprised of the group of staff from the former Department of Water and Energy who were principally involved in the administration of legislation relating to water and staff who provided corporate services required in connection with the Office of Water. From 4 April 2011 when the Department of Environment, Climate Change and Water was abolished the Office of Water became a branch of the Principal Department, the Department of Primary Industries. © State of New South Wales through Museums of History NSW
