NSW Heritage Office [1996-2006] : [40] Collection home page

In April 1996 the Minister for Urban Affairs and Planning announced the NSW Government's heritage policy. One of the key elements of the policy was the creation of the Heritage Office which was to be directly responsible to the Minister. The Heritage Office was abolished on 3 March 2006 and all its branches were added to the Department of Planning.
