From 4 April 2011 the name of the Department of Industry and Investment was changed to the Department of Trade and Investment, Regional Infrastructure and Services (DTIRIS) and the Department became one of nine Principal Departments of the Public Service. From April 2011 the Department of Trade and Investment, Regional Infrastructure and Services was also known as NSW Trade and Investment. On 1 July 2015 the Department of Trade and Investment, Regional Infrastructure and Services was abolished by the Administrative Arrangements (Administrative Changes-Public Service Agencies) Order (No.2) 2015.
